BIS CRS Registration Process
Step 01
Eligibility & Product Assessment

Step 02
Application Submission
An online application is submitted to the BIS portal along with all pertinent product information, technical details, and required documents.
Step 03
Product Testing
Samples are tested in a BIS-recognized laboratory for compliance with the Indian
safety and quality
standards.
Step 04
Grant of Registration
BIS grants a Registration Certificate with a unique R-Number. Registration is valid for 1-2 years and is renewable based on compliance.
